Library Book Haul

Living in Philly is great for many reasons, and our library system is definitely at the top of that list. Is that the nerdiest thing you’ve read all day? Keep reading.

I know that everyone in every city isn’t as fortunate when it comes to libraries. I get asked all the time if I buy every book that read and, while I buy and own a lot of books, I do like to try before I buy. My library usually gets new releases right away and even if I have to wait on a hold list for a newer read, I get it pretty quickly. If I’m listening to an audiobook, there’s a 99% chance it’s borrowed from the library using an app.

I also donate books to my library pretty often. There’s usually a “to donate” stack in my living room of books I’ve either read and didn’t love, books that were gifted to me and books that I loved so much I have to pass on to someone else.

I love that libraries serve as great equalizers. No matter who you are, where you live or what you do, you can come to library and have access to knew worlds, ideas and knowledge. Supporting your local library is a great way to support your community and the authors you love!

In this video, I’m showing you all my latest library check outs and what I’m currently reading. Let me know what you’ve recently checked out from the library in the comments!
