Even though I’m not a huge TV watcher, weeks inside plus all of the gloomy weather we’re having has be grabbing the remote often than usual.

What are your typical TV habits? The only shows I tend to keep up with in real time at the Housewives franchises. In an effort to break up with my TV, before the corona madness started, I was pretty much only turning my TV on during the weekends. I’m more of a a re-watcher than new show starter and prefer to watch TV at night as a way to unwind during and after dinner. But when I do find a new show that I love, I’m definitely a binger!

I’ve received some DMs asking what’s on my watchlist, so I thought I’d put together a list of things I’ve recently watched or am planning to binge over the next few weeks.

I hope everyone is still hanging in there, keeping your spirits up and staying at home as much as you possibly can.

Downton Abbey (Amazon Prime)

Truly a classic series, in my opinion! This is a great time to get lost in the dramatic and often unbelievable world of the Crawley family. At heart, this series is really just a soap opera posing as a period piece and we all need some controlled drama right now.

The Tiger King (Netflix)

To everyone who has watched this based on my recommendation: you’re welcome and I’m sorry. This series is so terribly good, I binged all 7 episodes in under 24 hours. Buckle up and brace yourself for the most bizarre time of your life. Enjoy, all you cool cats and kittens.

The Bold Type (Hulu)

If you haven’t started this series yet, now is a great time to get into it! My fellow media/writer/PR friends will especially love following these 3 best friends trying to figure out life and career.

The Mindy Project (Hulu)

Again, a classic. Fun fact: I’ve never watched the final episode of this series because I don’t want it to be over!! I love Mindy Kaling so much, and this show is seriously under appreciated! It’s gold, hilariously funny and will definitely lighten the mood in your living room.

Uncorked (Netflix)

I haven’t watched this new film yet, but can’t wait to sit down with a glass of weekend wine and dive into it! The cast is packed with some of my funniest faves, and we could all use a laugh right now. Plus, the reviews are already looking good!

Freud (Netflix)

Another one I haven’t watched yet, but definitely has me interested! The series re-imagines the early life of Freud and he helps to solve murders. I’m not usually big into crime drama, but I’m always willing to give something set in 1800s a shot!

Taylor Tomlinson: Quarter-Life Crisis (Netflix)

This stand up special legitimately made me laugh out loud. Taylor is super funny and extremely relatable. This is definitely one for millennials (and maybe our parents, too).

Next in Fashion (Netflix)

All of you fans of project runway will probably enjoy this one! I’m usually not into fashion competition shows, but I love Tan France so he sold me! This is definitely a bingable series, and all of the contestants were very likable to me.

Hilary (Hulu)

I’ve already watched this series twice, and will watch again. Say what you will about her, but Hilary is a fascinating woman and her story has so many layers. At the end of the day, this series is about so much more than her, and is totally worth watching.

Four Weddings and a Funeral (Hulu)

I’ve already rewatched this at least 4 times since it debuted some months ago (has it been months, what is time?!). This is a remake of the classic film and is so, so good! You’ll laugh and cry so many happy tears!

  1. I saw The Tiger King and OMG.. I just couldn’t turn away. Everytime I thought it couldn’t get any more outrageous, it did. (Carol Baskin did it. IDC IDC!)

I’ve been rewatching Supernatural, catching up on RHOA, HTGAWM just came back so that’ll keep me busy, and my all time go-to, The Office.
