Sunday Morning Coffee // No. 106

When this post goes live, I’ll be a few thousand feet in the air flying back to Philadelphia from California. The West Coast is lovely, but I can’t wait to be back in my own bed.

My mind is heavy with thoughts of those still recovering from the impact of Hurricane Harvey in Texas and thinking of those in Florida and the Caribbean bracing themselves for more storms to come.

If you don’t already, follow me on Twitter –that’s where I’ll be sharing any resources and means of donating or aiding relief efforts that I can. I feel like we all have to do what we can as those along the coast do their best to recover and get through the storms.

If you know of any relief efforts or places to donate, feel free to leave them in the comments and I will happily share them.

Link I Loved…

+ I usually love Meg’s book recommendations, and want to check out a few from her August review.

+ It’s okay to be a little (or a lot) selfish.

+ Loved this interview with Reese Witherspoon on being an ambitious woman.

+ 5 uses for coconut oil (and I’ll add make up remover to this list!).

+ A great roundup of ways to help hurricane Harvey victims.

+ And 12 more ways to help those in Houston.

+ I always love Mari Andrew’s illustrations and this one on falling in love was spot on.

+ 15 books on starting fresh and creating new routines.

+ If you read no other article this week, please read this.

Happy Sunday.
