Have you ever taken, or considered taking, a trip by yourself? Someplace far (however you define far) and likely foreign? Let’s talk….
I’ve had the travel bug for a while now. There are so many places I like to see, experience, visit and maybe even stay longer. Not to mention, so many foods I neeeeed to try!
But one thing about being on the lower side of your twenty-somethings, having friends all in the same mental, adventurous and financial space is a challenge. Not everyone will want to see Spain at the same time that you do, or spend a long weekend in Toronto.
Managing desires, expectations, budgets and schedules gets hard fast and before you know it, the window to book a trip has passed.
So with all of that in mind, my question for you all today is: have you ever traveled solo? Or considered it?
If you have, please send me all of your tips, tricks, resources or favorite articles! Tell me the good, bad and downright terrifying aspects of solo travel. Would you ever do it again? How long would you say is too long to wander sans travel buds?
And if you haven’t, but have maybe considered it, what’s holding you back? Shoot me an email or put your thoughts in the comments, I’m curious to know!
