In January of 2014, I shared 10 more wellness reminders.

A few weeks ago, I was going through old posts and these instantly popped into my head. They’re each shared often on Pinterest, and I realize that even though it’s such a simple concept for a post, it’s so useful and helpful. I turn to these often because sometimes, you just need a little nudge in the right direction to help you get back on track.

I’m currently working on developing wellness themes, and coming up with reminders for each theme. I’ll be sharing these here, but also in the Move Letter, once it re-launches.

Today, I’m sharing 7 wellness reminders for dealing with change.

1. Even the moments that don’t feel like it will help you to grow and become more than you were before. Change is often uncomfortable. Actually, change will almost always be uncomfortable. During times of change, we sometimes struggle to let go of the familiar and embrace all the newness around us, mostly out of fear and comfort. Just let go, and let the moment change you.

2. There will always be change. The sooner you accept this as fact, the sooner you can stop reacting and start being proactive about how you live.

3. Everyone is going through change, constantly. You aren’t alone, and you aren’t the only one adjusting.

4. Continue to give yourself the things you need. When things are in transition, it’s easy to get so overwhelmed that we forget the essentials. Drink water, get sleep, exercise and eat well despite how unsettled other things may feel.

5. Change indicates progress. When things begin to change, it means that you are no longer going to be in the place you’re coming from. Focus your energy on making sure the change taking place is positive and brings you closer to your goals.

6. Some kind of failure usually comes before success. Sometimes, it takes getting it wrong to get you in the position where you’re able to get it right.

7. Nothing worth having comes easy.
