Hello, and happy Sunday everyone! Can you believe that this is one of the last times we’ll sit down for coffee together in 2013? Next week, be sure to brew your favorite post holiday drink and stop by the blog, because I’ll be chatting about my holiday and sharing some of my favorite posts from 2013!
I had planned on getting a few more posts up this week, but packing to go home and spending time with M took precident this week. I finally found the time to revamp the And Yes To Joy Facebook Page and even updated Twitter. Pinterst is next on my social media hit list. You can probably guess from the updates to those pages that a few more changes will be coming pretty soon.
This week was my first off from classes, and it felt great to only have to focus on work and my internship. I’m so excited for the holidays, and it feels great to be back home for a while with my family. As much as I love the city, it’s nice to escape and be surrounded by family. I had some time to start working on the newsletter that I mentioned in this post. I think the first one is going to be great!
I’m excited for to share some really great posts from these bloggers. Some, I just started reading this week, and some are old friends whose posts I always enjoy. Grab your coffee (or tea if that’s your thing) and enjoy these links!
+ Crystal at The Happy Type wrote an amazing post on why it’s important to dream big. I love everything that this post is about, and I couldn’t agree more. Crystal is currently embarking on bringing a big dream of her’s to fruition: becoming a personal trainer! I know that shell be great at anything she sets her mind to.
+ This was my first time stopped by Design for Mankind, Erin’s blog. This week, she spoke on life as a blogger, and how certain things are suitable bits for her space and others aren’t. I’m sure a lot of bloggers can relate to what she’s saying.
+ The ever lovely Latrina from Of Trees and Hues put together a holiday mixtape after taking requests from bloggers! If you’re looking for some holiday jams, here’s a great place to start!
+ I’m not much of a DIYer, mainly because I know my strengths and craft isn’t one of them. But this great DIY gold sharpie monogram mug by Kelsey of Pinegate Road was too adorable to pass up! I think I can handle marker on mug.
+ In keeping with the holiday spirit, Dana of The Wonder Forest shared some festive holiday nail art. This manicure will add the perfect touch to any holiday look you’ve got planned.
What have you been up to this week? What posts did you love? Feel free to share them in the comments!
