This week was a doozy. I’ve been in long term recovery from traveling to North Carolina last weekend, but I’m hoping to have it a little more together this week.
Here’s hoping.
Four Things
1. I am SO so so excited for the At Work With feature going up this week! Be sure to look out for it this Wednesday! It features the brains behind a simply beautiful brand that I think will inspire you.
2. You know what comes along with long weekend recovery? Take out overload. Please cancel my grub hub account. Thnx.
3. The combo of high temps and thunderstorms has had me melting since last month, and this has been keeping my face refreshed in the meantime #savinggrace
4. Guys, I think I’m getting a cat. More on this later but if you know me, you know this is huge.
Links I loved…
+ This agency literally makes it impossible for employees to work after hours.
+ Another egg & avo recipe, because you can never have too many.
+ So much apartment inspiration gathering in preparation for the big move. I’m loving these simple hacks from the EveryGirl to transform a space.
+ Career tip: easy templates to help you write a stellar LinkedIn summary.
+ Bloggers, how do you feel about reader engagement? I loved the conversation Chelsea started. Read my response in the comments.
+ Try these reads if your book shelf is still lacking this Summer. (P.S – expect an E&M bookshelf update in the next few weeks)
+ Make any link into an emoji.
+ Another super fruit to add to your produce list.
+ As if you needed another reason to sleep in: 6 health benefits of sleep.
+ And it wouldn’t be the end to a great weekend without toasting the new week with some cocktail recipes.
I hope I’ll get to see you all tomorrow during my live Q&A at 7:30pm EST! I’ll be sharing all of the (many many) lessons I’ve learned throughout this past year of blogging. You can RSVP for that right here. I’ll also be announcing the winner of the giveaway during the chat and answering any questions you all have — you can ask questions in advance, of course, too.

Excited for the feature! And cat! / I think it’s really awesome how that agency is fostering healthy work habits 🙂 / I love how Chelsea’s post leaves the conversation open and I think it’s really cool how the bulk of it is in the comments! I personally love blog comments because I find it a lot more streamlined than conversations on social media. / No worries, I’ve got the sleeping in thing covered ;P
OH YEAH. And I squealed when I saw The Sixth Extinction on the book list! Elizabeth Kolbert visited my campus this past school year to talk about her book, which I read in preparation 😛
I just discovered your site. Love the style and look, I’ll definitely be back.
Thank you so much, Siobhan!
