Few things make me as happy as when a new month starts on a Monday. It’s the ultimate fresh start. And in the fall months, new months always feel like the perfect reset –time to reconfigure before you take your next step into something good.

I spent a lot of time this summer hustling, which was both a good and a bad thing. Now that the fall months (and hopefully, consistent fall weather) is here, I’m ready to spend some time instead bringing all of the things I’ve been working on for most of the year to life.

I think we tend to have one of two reactions to the fourth quarter of the year. We either get super defeated by the fact that the year is almost completely over and maybe we didn’t get to every single thing we resolved to do in January. So, we slip into “next” mode.

I’ll just start it next year.

I’ll focus on that goal next time.

We start offloading things onto a plate that doesn’t even exist yet because we feel like we’re already out of time.

But the truth is, we aren’t. There is still plenty of time left in the next three months. And your faith and hard work can get more done in the next three months than you could ever imagine. One day could end up being the game changer you’ve been waiting for all year long.

So, all that being said, I’m preparing for a super impactful Fall season.

I’ve been working on some new YouTube content which will launch in a few weeks. I’ve been writing more and am working on a project that I’m obsessed with. I don’t want to share too much on the topic, but it’s a collection of essays, short stories and flash fiction that I funny intend to publish at some point. It’s been one of the hardest things I’ve ever sat down to write, but it’s coming along and I can’t wait to get it to a point where it’s share worthy.

My friends and some of you have also been hounding me to start some kind of book club –sharing more than just my monthly reading wrap up posts. I’ll be spending the next month or so developing something that will get us all reading more and talking about books! Two of my absolutely favorite things.

I’m so excited for this new season and I hope you are, too. If you’re also hoping for a fruitful fall season, share something you’re working on bringing to life before the end of the year in the comments.

  1. What you said about slipping into the fourth quarter of the year and pushing things to next year was super interesting! Because I’ve been in school until this past May, I’ve never thought of the year that way, because the fourth quarter of the year marked the beginning of the year for me 😛 Now that I’ve graduated, it seems that I’ve lost all concept of time, and it’s weird to know that my underclassmen friends are struggling through midterm season right now. Anywho, it sounds like you’ve got some exciting stuff in the works! Good luck with your projects 🙂 // As we’re nearing true autumnal weather, I’m getting more and more excited for cosy autumnal nights in cuddled up with books. 1. Oh, that new concept of time happens REAL QUICK after graduation. I remember that moment very well. When you realize there is no summer break anymore, and work keeps going, that’s when it really HITS!

  2. Love this! It’s so easy to push off your goals into next week, next month and next year when you can really start now. And that cup of coffee looks amazing.

  3. I am working on starting a new blog and my real estate license this is something I look forward to working on this fall.
