This super hot and humid followed by super rainy and gloomy weather is destroying my productivity and energy levels these days. It’s hard to wake up wanting to do anything that doesn’t involve sitting on the couch with a book when it’s hot, humid and the sky is falling.

The only positive to wanting to stay inside and as close to the AC as possible? You find time to get to all of those household projects you’ve been putting off forever. For me, that means going through clothes and deciding what should be tossed, kept or donated. I’ve had some things in my closet forever. I never reach for them and it’s more than time to let them go!

I’m getting to a point where I want the things that I wear and store in my closet to be true to who I am. There are definitely pieces that I’ve had since high school that have moved from dorm to apartment, taking up unnecessary space.

No more!!

I’ve actually considered trying out a seasonal capsule wardrobe.  Have you ever tried it?

  1. Lovely post Amber, as you know I enjoy your coffee and catch up series. Over in the UK the weather has been so autumnal the last couple of days, I didn’t enjoy the humid weather either, and some in between weather would have increased my own productivity. My wardrobe needs a bit of organising too, hope you’re having a great Sunday! 🙂 xx
