I love the first day of a new month. It’s always a good reminder to hit reset, get things in order and refocus your attentions. June was a hectic month, so a reset and refresh is completely needed.

This next week is at work is going to be pretty hectic (as you would image during the fourth when your job is to promote the city where it happened). And then right after, I’ll be off to California for a few days to attend a conference as part of my 30 Under 30 program (thanks for all the well wishes on that announcement, too 🙂 ).

Over the next few days I’ll be working on new videos and posts, getting the apartment together, finally tackling the (literal) mountain of laundry I’ve amassed and then packing for the West Coast.

And drinking lots of cold brew in between, because my work load and this heat are both no joke.

  1. Sounds like you’re rolling on June’s momentum! Best of luck with this week and the rest of the month too! I’ve been spending a lot of time in cafes, but the a/c is usually pretty high, so I get hot coffees after I cool down from outside haha. // I never thought about getting those from TJ’s before! I don’t really think about those often, but she mentioned some great uses at the end of her post -Audrey | Brunch at Audrey’s
