Sunday Morning Coffee via And Yes To JoyCan you believe that the first week of February has already come and gone? I can’t!

I’m writing this post on a Friday night (I usually write and schedule these on Saturday mornings/afternoons) because I’m heading off on a mini road trip for most of the weekend. Part of me hates going away, because I’m so set in my weekend routines and rituals. But a little break in monotony never hurt anyone.

This week brought more snow, more icy weather and cold temps. I am so incredibly ready for Spring. I’m excited for the week coming up, and for the upcoming newsletter that I’ll be sending out on Monday!

Jumping full on into my new crazy schedule this past week inspired me to reflect on one particular word: breathe. No jitters, no anxiety wondering what will happen next. Just trusting in truth, going with my gut and following my intuition. Sometimes, all you need to do is breathe.

Some links I loved this week…

+ Was I the only one who was super thrown off then they realized that Google + actually became a THING? I honestly never thought it would catch on. I guess the social media/PR girl in me should’ve known better than to take new media off of my radar. Laura of The Native New Yawker broke down how to use a Google + community. If you’re stuck on Google + too, her post is a great place to start.

+ I love getting peeks into how people decorate their living spaces. I love how Samantha of Elah Tree put a sweet vintage twist on her side tables. I love the non traditional take on a staple piece of living room furniture. She also has a pretty swell Etsy shop that I’d recommend checking out!

+ I’ve never been huge on making certain foods from scratch, but this homemade peanut butter recipe that Celeste shared seems so simple, healthy and yummy. I’ll definitely be giving it a try.

+ I’ve been spending a lot of time pinning and repinning things lately. I’ve always been slightly obsessed with Pinterest. Alyssa’s post on how to use Pinterest to grow increase blog traffic couldn’t have come at a better time.

Any post that you loved this week? Feel free to share posts that you’ve enjoyed, or even your own posts, in the comments! And remember, just breathe.

  1. I never thought Google+ would become a thing either. Definitely going to check out that link so I can figure out how to use it. Thanks for sharing my post!
