Sunday Morning Coffee/ via And Yes To JoyHappy Sunday everyone, and hello to March, one of my favorite months on the calendar. Can you believe we are are already almost a quarter of the way through 2014?! Time flies when you’re living, doesn’t it?

This week marks Spring Break for me, and I’m excited to have a little time to step back, breathe, and really spend time getting self centered. Have any of you been practicing any self-centering techniques? Since starting this little journey, I’ve really become truly conscious of myself. It’s almost like I’ve been treating “self” as a younger sister, who I need to watch, protect and be constantly aware of. So instead of saying “I’m tired,” which is usually followed by everything but going to bed and resting, I think “self is tired, and really needs to rest to rejunvinate itself,” a reflection which is followed by sleep and rest.

Even when you’re having a bad day, having a sense of how the self feels and what it needs will allow you to get through it, head held high.

Do one week for yourself this week. Make a delicious and healthy dinner for yourself, or go for a long walk alone in the evening. You won’t regret it, trust me.

+ I’ve been thinking a lot about my personal style lately, and I really enjoyed Madelynn’s  guide to shopping and creating the perfect wardrobe.

+ Next year, I will have my own room for the first time since I was 7 or 8 years old. Wow! I’m excited! The Artful Desperado shared this gorgeous apartment that has my inspirational gears moving already.

+ This print reminds us to always find the sweetness that life has to offer.

+ Loving the short video that Miranti created for her blog of her doing a little hand letting with brush and ink!

+ I loved Tana’s creative take on a “currently” post. She shared what’s happening lately in her life using the 5 senses.

Have a lovely Sunday!
