I made it through moving day, and with no major injuries! So, this is a very very happy Sunday.

It’s going to be a wild week for sure: unpacking, getting last minute things together and starting a new job this week. Apologies in advance if posts get up a bit late this week, or if there are some bouts of silence. The link list is a bit shorter this Sunday, simply because packing took precedent over internet stalking 🙂

If you’re new to the blog and these roundups, welcome! Each Sunday, I share a brief week cap of the week that past and what I’m excited for in the week to come, tell you four things I’d talk about if we sat down for coffee together, and share my favorite links of the week. Grab your latte (and carby breakfast/brunch item) of choice!

four things

1. New apartment, obviously. But more importantly, the view of the sun rising over Old City in the morning. Makes being up at the (literal) crack of dawn insanely rewarding.

2. Tomorrow, I start my new job –my first “big girl” job. I know I haven’t given many specifics on the blog about this position yet, but I’m working on a post all about what I do, and how I got here. This job is everything I’ve wanted and more, and totally deserves  its own post.

3. First day of work outfit. The perfect dress/heel combo that I’ve been talking about all week to anyone who will listen. I’m almost as excited about the outfit as I am about starting the job.

4. Yesterday, my dad spent all day taking apart furniture, packing, lifting and moving me out of my college apartment and into the new place. When it comes to dads, I’m reassured more and more each day that I have the best one.

  1. Ugh I’m moving into a new apartment on Tuesday so I TOTALLY sympathize with you on it. But isn’t it lovely to have a fresh start??
