I’m trying to wrap my head around the fact that it’s nearly August. What? When? This Summer is seriously flying.

After an exhausting week, it was great to have a relaxing weekend of Gilmore Girls binging and book reading. Sometimes it takes us reaching our limits to realize that it’s best for us to step back and make the best decisions that we can in the moment. A rough pill to swallow for a control freak like me, but the truth nonetheless.

Four things

1. When one door closes, another door always opens. Literally. Apartment hunting, especially in a tight time frame, can be a serious struggle but where there’s a will, there is always a lease.

2. Next week I’ll have the chance to collaborate with an incredible brand for a social media takeover and I could not be more excited! Look out for more details this week!

3. HUGE THANKS to everyone who attended the live Q&A I hosted on Monday! I loved getting the chance to share with you all in real time. You know, beyond the comments section.

4. Yesterday’s post summed up my entire week and is absolutely how I got through this weekend.
