A New Year, A Blank SlateHappy New Year, friends! I hope you brought the year in with people you love, doing things that you love and preparing yourself for the best year yet.

My favorite part of the New Year is truly feeling like everything is new. A blank slate, and a fresh canvas that will go through 12 months of additions and changes. It’s like standing on top of a mountain and staring out at the world, knowing it’s yours for the taking. 2015 is a big year for me — a graduate from college in just 5 short months. I’m so excited, and of course a little freaked out, at the possibility of anything. Because right now, anything really is possible in 2015.

If you haven’t noticed, the blog got a bit of a face lift in celebration of the New Year! I love the refreshed look and logo and it’s just the first sign of things to come.

If you’re subscribed to the newsletter (more on that in a bit) you know that my biggest lesson of 2014 was that you have to make things happen. They will not come to be on their own. So this year, I want to make things happen. Starting with this space right here.

So, what’s new? And what’s going to happen here?

The Move Letter

My number one goal with everything I create is to produce things that are helpful and useful. One year ago, I created a mailing list and since then over 100 of you have followed me through rebrands and more as I’ve found my way. Now, it’s time to make the newsletter as helpful and useful as possible.

Enter, The Move Letter. I’ve decided to brand the E&M newsletter as The Move Letter because for the past few months, I’ve been writing with the slogan messages to make you move in mind. And that’s just what you can expect to hit your inbox. Every Monday morning, you’ll be scent a helpful piece of actionable advice to get you moving for the week. That’s right, the newsletter is now weekly instead of bi-weekly, which I’m PUMPED about! If you’re already subscribed, you’re golden! But if not, you can hop on the list right here!

Blog Brained, The E-Course

Newsletter subscribers got the insider scoop on Blog Brained a few weeks ago, and now I’ excited to share the news with everyone! I will officially be launching Blog Brained, an e-course designed to help you blog smarter, in February. It will be an self paced course that you purchase once and have access to forever! I’ll be sharing all of the juicy deets on the blog in the next few days.

Guest Bloggers

I’ve loved having other creatives pop in here to share their words of wisdom and advice. In addition to the Up + Out column, which gives you a peek into the lives of other creatives, there will definitely be more guest posts on the blog this year.

So, that’s what’s new with me, what about you? What big plans do you have in store for 2015?
